I’m blessed to call NC home. Although I love my hometown, Savannah, GA, I enjoy all 4 seasons in NC while spending more time in warmer weather. Although I’ve gotten to travel to other parts of the US and the World, I’ve lived in NC since 1985 and enjoyed the state’s amazing natural variety – from the mountains to the coast!
During this same 30+ year period, the NC Life Sciences ecosystem has grown extensively. Rapid growth is terrific but this same growth can manifest itself into challenges in navigating communities, information and connectivity.
My hypothesis is that aggregated and curated content can augment and enhance existing NC Life Sciences resources whose linchpin is the NC Biotech Center. My initial thoughts in developing this resource were to leverage my background as a “connector”, my knowledge of the NC Life Sciences community and my “inner geek” (*messing with technologies like a Word Press web site – clearly not my calling!) for the benefit of the community.
And so here it is…
This site is a work in progress. Is there other useful information that can be collated for the benefit of the NC Life Sciences community? If you think of ways to make this resource better or events, groups and associations that should be posted, I want to hear from you.
